Reinvigoration (by Patrick)
There are times in sessions where the group is feeling tired, or has no energy, particularly when it's at the end of the day. This layout's goal is to help the facilitator reinvigorate the group and get them to function at a high level.
It starts by being prepared. Open and welcome team members with enthusiasm and energy, invite them to participate. Hold space by being the focal point in the room; this can be done by telling a story that people can relate to. Get members to express themselves and share of themselves. The facilitator follows the energy in the room, helping build it up. An attitude of playfulness also would come into play; enable people to open up. Then, close the session, while paying attention to verbal and non-verbal feedback. Finally, with the team reinvigorated, the team can now focus on the key objectives of the session.
