The legal fine print, to ensure that what we create together remains available to the commons:  Legally Binding Acknowledgment & Waiver (“Acknowledgment”) to the Benefit of Group Pattern Language Project

I acknowledge that I do not have, have never had, and shall not claim to have, any ownership or other equitable or legal rights in the patent applications, patents, ideas, designs, developments, inventions, work product, copyrights, models, technical data, marks, trade dress, know-how, reports, computer software, technical drawings, audiovisual works or related subject matter relating to, or arising from, the subject matter referred to as Pattern Language for/of Group Process and the Group Works Deck.  By execution of this Acknowledgment, I further understand that I am waiving any and all rights I have had, have or may have to any consideration, equity, monetary amounts, or royalty payments that are received by, or may be received by Group Pattern Language Project.

I waive any and all rights I have or may have, to challenge the validity and enforceability of this Acknowledgment and waive any and all causes of action, whether based on contract, equity, law, administrative, or statute it has, or may have, related to this Acknowledgment.  I agree that this Acknowledgment is governed by the laws of the United States of America.

No modification, change or alteration shall be effective unless in writing and executed by both parties.
