Automatic Discounts:
With Shopify, we can no longer combine automatic discounts on bulk orders with coupon discounts, and we can only have one automatic discount. So to be able to cover all the discounts we want available, we have decided to NOT use automatic discounts, and to instead add the two new coupon discounts 10+ and 50+ shown below.
(Edit July 24, 2023) Because 'allfree' can no longer include free shipping, in cases when we want to send a free deck to someone, or a replacement deck for one that got lost in the mail, we should NOT use the Shopify system for these and instead email Alex with the address to send the deck to, and cc Dave so it can be properly accounted for.
Coupon Discounts:
10+: All orders of 10+ decks receive $10/deck discount (ie from $35 to $25/deck); no discount on shipping cost.
50+: All orders of 50+ decks receive $15/deck discount (ie from $35 to $20/deck); no discount on shipping cost.
Deck25: All orders using this coupon code receive $10/deck discount, regardless of order size, i.e. they pay $25/deck. Note that this cannot be combined with other coupon discounts such as freeship.
allfree: All orders using this coupon code pay $0/deck for their order, regardless of order size. For obvious reasons, this should only be divulged to and used by Core Team. Unfortunately Shopify won’t allow this to include free shipping, so when used, a gift card must also be created and applied for the amount of the shipping.
freeship: All orders using this coupon code pay nothing for shipping, regardless of order size. Note that this cannot be combined with other coupon discounts, but can be combined with the automatic discount.
Deck20: All orders using this coupon code receive $15/deck discount, regardless of order size, i.e. they pay $20/deck. Note that this cannot be combined with other coupon discounts such as freeship. Only to be divulged to Raines and Kaliya, our ambassadors.
Gift Cards:
In rare cases when we want to offer more than one coupon discount on an order, we will now use a gift card. We will compute the total cost of the order without discounts, subtract the total cost we want the customer to pay, and provide them with a gift card code for that precise dollar amount. Core 20
If you are a logged in member of the Core Team, you will be charged $20 per deck and free shipping will be automatically applied. No coupon required.
Coupons
The coupon codes are the words in parentheses. Coupons are not case-sensitive. "Anonymous" means the purchaser does not need to be a logged-in user to apply the code.
1. Related (related)
10 or more decks at $20.
Requires log-in as Ambassador/Steward, plus applying the coupon at checkout.
2. Deck 20 (Deck20)
If purchasing 10 or more decks, reduces price to $20 instead of $25, anonymous.
3. Deck 25 (Deck25)
Reduces price per deck to $25 instead of $35, anonymous.
4. Free Shipping (freeship)
Applies free shipping at checkout, anonymous.
5. All Free (allfree)
If you are a logged in core team member, this coupon makes the entire order totally free including shipping. To be used only for inventory movement or free promotional decks, as approved by existing policies.
