Compendium
Compendium is another concept mapping tool that can be used and it is a
intended as collaborative tool. http://compendium.open.ac.uk/ ,

The Digital Document Discourse Environment <http://d3e.open.ac.uk/> (D3E) can be used to transform an exported HTML outline from Compendium into a website for asynchronous threaded discussion about the ideas from a meeting.
Also, the docs pointed to http://accessgrid.org which seems to support virtual meetings with Compendium as part of the toolset.
Elliot Shuford says: I think this is another free, collaborative online form.

Springnote. From John K:

You can get started adding content to your notebook by going to http://scenarioguy.springnote.com/.
EtherPad. Simple, text-only live collaboration tool that we used to take collaborative notes during a bunch of our conference calls: http://etherpad.com/ For others, see http://www.communitywiki.org/CollaborativeEditor
DabbleDB. John A: I was also reminded of a tool called DabbleDB that for many reasons (partly price, largely tool development being completely out of our hands) i would not recommend in the long haul, but might be worth looking at. http://dabbledb.com/

Big Integration and Transformation
Doug Schuler's proejct: We are still working on our transition to a new content management system. Although it will take awhile, we plan to ultimately bring all of the pieces together under an integrated conceptual and graphical roof. One of the most important aspects of our work is fostering a vibrant community around the idea of public spheres. Let us know if you're interested in helping with this effort. Drupal familiarity is a big plus!

Something else, from Jack Park via Nancy W.: The project is fairly close to release as an open source (LGPL) project. There's an older variant of it online on my slow dsl at

http://socialsourcecommons.org/ may be an interesting site to look at. Gunner said in the past he'd make the software available. (via Nancy)
